Introducing Alizarin Chestnut®
You’ve seen the truly special blend of red and orange hues. It stops what you’re doing and focuses your attention.
On a warm summer evening, look west. It’s the blended dapples and whisps of the colors that refuse to yield the sky until the very last rays of sunlight give way to nightfall.
On a horse, it’s pure beauty.
Look around the paddock, in the ring, around the track or along a trail. It’s again the shades of red and orange that catch your eye.
It’s the combination that demands my attention and also inspires my artistic and design work.
What’s This Color?
It’s called alizarin, the underlying reddish pigment that makes painting a chestnut horse so vivid and captivating.
And, it’s why there’s no better name for my creative studio.
Alizarin Chestnut fully captures the beauty I see in horses; it also represents that standard I aspire to achieve in original portraits, illustrations, graphic design and websites I create for you.
